Simple Elevated Home Refreshes for this Season

Simple Elevated Home Refreshes for this Season

This season, let’s shift the energy without the overwhelm. You don’t need a full makeover. You don’t need more stuff (although shopping is always fun), you just need to shake off those winter blues, take a fresh breath and welcome this season of rebirth and refresh with open arms. When you’re able to do that, your space naturally transforms into who you really are. A safe, cozy, creative space that feels just like you. For those who need a little extra support, which we probably all do to be honest, I’ve put together some ideas to get the creative juices flowing.

1. Edit with Emotion, Not Aesthetics
Instead of buying that random cute gnome statue you have no real spot for and a watermelon bowl you found at Home Goods, try a quick emotional edit: Does this piece make me feel peaceful? Happy? Connected? Do I know where I’ll put it? If not, ditch it. Style with what reflects your present self—not just your style, but what really resonates with you.

2.  Change the Flow, not always the furniture

You don’t need to buy a thing. Instead, shift how a room moves. Angle your couch differently to invite more light, move the bedroom rug to the hallway, reassign a chair to a new purpose. You can even paint that old cabinet you have for a nice change on a budget if you like to be crafty. Small shifts create big energy changes.

3. Elevate The Everyday Touch Points

Refresh the items you touch and feel daily—your soap pump, your dish towel, your entryway key catcher. These functional pieces are the undercurrent of your home’s mood. Choose ones that feel good in your hands and make you smile.

4. Swap Heavy for Light

Get rid of those chunky, heavy threads for light, airy, breathable fabrics. We’re not curling up watching scary movies with hot cocoa on a cold night (which is also quite amazing) we’re moving and grooving this season, we’re out and about. But... we might need something for sitting out near the campfire.

5. Bring Outdoors In

Fresh flowers and greenery instantly lift a room. Pair it with a beautiful vase or even just a re- used cool mason jar, which is one of my favorites. I usually always have some fresh plants and flowers in my home; it's one of my favorite things.

6. Use Scent Like a Signature
Scent is personal, fun, new and nostalgic. One of my favorite scents this season is Pearberry Lychee. Think citrus, fresh linen, lavender, whatever pulls you into the vibes.

Your home doesn’t need more stuff.
Just a little love and intention 🌿
Which one are you trying first?
